EnGenious Game
DESCRIPTION
The EnGenious game is a virtual world that includes 10 interactive games showcasing six engineering
disciplines. Students can run a refinery, set up an environmentally friendly electricity grid, design and test crash a car and more. To show youth that engineering can make life better, players earn special rewards based on their ability to improve the social, economic and environmental well-being and safety of the EnGenious citizens. Students will also answer trivia questions, unravel puzzles and develop their problem solving skills.
Pulp Studios Inc. handled game concept design, identity for the game, world map design, game interactive design, user experience, animation and illustration. Pulp Studios Inc. worked with a team of specialists to provide the other requirements. Washingtron provided audio creation and mastering and gskinner.com provided all the code, programming and technological support.
Three of the mini games from this project are currently installed in a standalone version at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.
